Pertamina Refinery Unit (RU) V Balikpapan, located in East Kalimantan is a business unit of the Pertamina Refinery Directorate, that produces oil to supply domestic needs, particularly serving the Eastern Indonesia market. Pertamina’s Refinery Unit V currently supplies around 26% of the total fuel demand across Indonesia.
In August 2022, as part of the Refinery Unit’s Turnaround, our Service Engineers performed a replacement of the stack damper actuators from local control to a remote control. With remote control, our clients can easily control valves without having to manually operate the valves at hard-to-reach locations.
Our experts and certified service engineers, performed replacements to ensure the actuators meet current process requirements. This is part of an effort to optimize the reliability and operating capacity of RU V Pertamina Balikpapan.
Our service engineers are professionally factory-trained to recalibrate, repair (developing, changing, modifying, upgrading), and overhaul.
